Security firm spies on Reuters correspondent

Source: Reuters

(Reuters) - A private security team was hired to follow and photograph a Reuters special correspondent who has written a series of articles exposing mismanagement in Greek banks.

Stephen Grey, who was in Athens last week for further reporting, was followed to a meeting at a building in the city on June 20.

The unidentified watcher waited for an hour and a half until Grey emerged. He then followed Grey to the Reuters office in Syntagma Square in the city centre, where the watcher was joined by a second man who arrived on a motorbike.

The two men kept the office under observation for more than an hour, Reuters security staff said.

Reminds me of the movie "Z" back in the Sixties.

Stephen Grey is an excellent journalist and has written two books - Ghost Plane: The True Story of the CIA Torture Program and Into the Viper's Nest: The First Pivotal Battle of the Afghan War

by GOVERNMENT. It's the SAME as with everything else outsourced.

IT WILL HAPPEN. IT IS HAPPENING. THIS IS NEO-AMERICA. YOU CAN SEE IT. PEOPLE ARE LIVING IT.

The problem is Corporations are NOT accountable to PEOPLE. UNDERSTAND THIS.

And in America, Corporations ARE considered PEOPLE. And this SCARES me. It is the World and Life. The nature of all this.
It is the Nature of TYRANNY.

SMELL IT.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratfor :

Stratfor's subscribers list was confidential, and the company's publicity list includes Fortune 500 companies and international government agencies. The hacker groups Anonymous and LulzSec claimed to have made it public on December 24, 2011 as part of Operation AntiSec, however Stratfor denied that the hack recovered the client list. . . .

It was reported on December 24, 2011 that members of Anonymous had stolen emails and credit-card data from Stratfor's website. . . .

The hackers claimed to have retrieved over 200 gigabytes of data. . . .

WikiLeaks announced the initial publishing of over 5 million of the company's emails on February 26, 2012. Anonymous has claimed to have provided WikiLeaks with the data. . . . The Guardian referred to the first published leaks of Stratfor material as peering in to an "intelligence-industrial complex".

Thank you for pointing this out. I was also thinking within the context of what has happened in Iraq... Think torture, the sexual abuse, kidnappings of AMERICANS in IRAQ etc. --THIS IS ALL KNOWN FACT.

But yes.... Additionally if people recall there has already been a legal case or two about people trying achieve justice for for what some of the CONTRACTORS HAVE DONE... Think KIDNAPPED Americans in IRAQ.

They were TOLD no REDRESS against these corporations, they are NOT the Government.... People SHOULD NOT NEED to SEEK GOVERNMENT TYPE REDRESS FOR TORTURE FROM A CORPORATION. PERIOD. BUT it is happening. I guess it happens all the time when you think about South America....The difference here is THESE ARE GOVERNMENT CONTRACTORS IN SAY IRAQ. THAT IS WHAT I SEE.

Wow.....and it scares me.....This should SCARE everyone that has ANY sense.

he would surely be aware of the liklihood of his falling from a high building, being involved in a mugging or a traffic accident, an airplane tragedy or otherwise becoming the victim of a sudden urge to suicide be suicided.

Americans Are Being Prepared For Full Spectrum Tyranny

... One cannot place the blame of despotism entirely on the shoulders of globalists. Sadly, the crimes of elites are only possible with a certain amount of complicity from subsections of the populace. Without our penchant for apathy and fear, there can be no control. That is to say, there is no power over us but that which we give away. We pave the road to our own catastrophes.

In the end, a tyrant’s primary job is not to crush the masses and rule out of malevolence, but to obtain the voluntary consent of the citizenry, usually through trickery and deceit. Without the permission of the people, subconscious or otherwise, no tyranny can survive.

As with the oppressive regimes of the past, America has undergone a dramatic transformation, heavy with fear and ignorance. Our tradition of elections has been corrupted and negated by the false left/right paradigm, and the leaderships of both defunct parties now seek only to elevate a select minority of men bent on globalization. Our Constitutional liberties have been dismantled by legal chicanery. Our principles have been diluted by intellectual games of rationalism and moral relativism. Our country is ripe for conquest.

Americans battle over whose side is most to blame; Democrat or Republican, while ironically being disenchanted with both entities. For some people, the thought of holding each party equally accountable, or accepting that they are essentially the same animal, never crosses their minds.

While this irrelevant farce of a debate rages on, the true culprits plotting the demise of our Republic gain momentum, and implement policy initiatives that the public should and must take note of. In the past year alone, many blatant steps towards the Orwellian gulag have been openly administered. A carnival of peddlers and freaks and greasy popcorn overwhelms our senses, but the stench of this cheap circus still tickles our noses, and if we use our eyes for even a moment, certain dangerous trends reveal themselves. Here are just a few recent events that bear a dire warning; the ultimate assault on freedom in this nation grows near…
