Trump When Asked If Attacks On Khan Family A Mistake: Define 'Mistake'

Source: Talking Points Memo

Donald Trump on Thursday morning refused to acknowledge whether his relentless attacks on a Gold Star family were a "mistake," but he also avoided launching into a full defense of his comments.

"You’ll have to define what a 'mistake' means. We’re not here to talk about that. We’re here to talk about economics," Trump said on CNBC when asked if his attacks on the Khan family were a "mistake."

He then refused to talk about the situation further.

"It’s been put to bed for a long time, and I don’t think there’s any reason for you to reopen it," Trump said.

Example: His decision to run for POTUS. That's a mistake.

The people who were duped sure think they made a mistake trusting him. Hopefully enough people in the US aren't batshit crazy so we don't end up with him are the biggest mistake this country has ever made. I shudder to think what this madman would do to us.

"It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is." That's just the 1st thing that came to mind reading the post title.

Edit to add: I just want to say that President Clinton should never have been asked that question. It had nothing to do with the investigation. Now what the Cheeto Bandito did to the Khans is unconscionable. The only mistake he made is letting what his brain thinks excrete from the anal sphincter he passes off as a mouth.

"in what tense is the question being asked" should have been his response. The question was "is there a relationship..." when it should have been "was there a relationship?"

"Only stupid losers make mistakes. In my White House, there will be no stupid losers making mistakes. Because it's all about winning, we are going to win. And if America wants to be great again, America wants to win, then no winners are going to be held accountable. Only stupid losers are going to be held accountable!"

TRUE winners acknowledge their mistakes and learn from them to do better next time. Insecure little whiners wont admit mistakes because their egos can't take more bruising.
