Ukraine police foil three terror attacks on Lviv railway (photos)

Ukraine's Security Service forces (the SBU) prevented three terror attacks on the Lviv railway (Westren Ukraine), SBU's press centre reports.
The police investigators detained five members of the group who planned to simultaneously blow up railway lines in three different directions.
"One of the terrorists was arrested as he was planting explosives at a bridge near the village of Dubliany, in the Lviv region. He attempted to resist arrest and opened fire. One of SBU officers was injured. The police officers wounded and arrested the attacker. Currently, there is no threat to life of both the SBU officer and terrorist", reads the statement.
The police officials searched the detainees and seized grenade launchers, grenades, five kilograms of explosives, 600 grams of TNT, three electric exploders, three hand guns and ammunition of different calibre.

kraine's Security Service (the SBU) and military officers detained two militants in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, in eastern Ukraine the SBU reports. One of the detainee is a foreign mercenary, who is apparently of a Caucasus descent.
He was arrested in the Luhansk region while he was trying to cross the demarcation line. The militant tried to enter the Ukraine-controlled territory near the village of Stanytsya Luhanska.
Ukraine's police officers searched him and seized a passport of a Caucasian region citizen, a migration card issued by relevant Russian authorities, and a military ID granted by the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic.
According to the detainee, he was recruited in the spring of 2014 while he stayed in Crimea, Ukraine's Black Sea peninsula which was illegally annexed by Russia. Since then he served in ranks of Russian-backed militants, in various armed formations of the so-called Luhansk People's Republic.
