Reports: Priebus ‘Apoplectic,’ Trump Aides ‘Suicidal’ After String Of Blunders

Source: Talking Points Memo

Following a week of high-profile blunders, Donald Trump’s antics have left the chair of the Republican National Committee “apoplectic” and his own aides “suicidal,” according to several reports.

RNC Chair Reince Priebus was reportedly “apoplectic” over Trump’s bucking the party line by refusing to back House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) or Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for re-election and called several of Trump’s staffers to voice his discontent, according to NBC's Katy Tur.

A longtime ally of top Trump staffer Paul Manafort also told CNBC’s John Harwood that Manafort is “not challenging Trump anymore” and is “mailing it in,” while the campaign staff is “suicidal."

NBC News’ Peter Alexander tweeted that an anonymous source confirmed “it’s all true” about Harwood’s reporting and that the situation is “way worse than people realize.” Manafort, for his part, denied Harwood's report.

That this could effect House of Representative races?

It would be nice to keep the Presidency, retake the Senate and reduce the rethug majority in the House.

Step back from the campaign and the ledge. People who fundamentally disagree with you don't wish or want you to die. Think of your families, friends, and consider that maybe you subscribe to an ideology that is destructive.

Payback is hell, ain't it Reince? You broke the party, now you own it.

I'm not the only one who saw this coming. It's no longer an if Trump will self destruct his campaign, but a when and how, and what happens after.

think back to 2000. The worst candidate in history is GIVEN the spot by con judges.
Election fraud brought the same idiot in place again.
Then, a mediocre candidate, McCain, chooses an all-out nutbag as his running mate.
After that, an idiot that thinks $10,000 is chump change, with an IQ of just 2 digits
chooses the 'smartest' guy they have: Paul Ryan, another mentally challenged winger.

NOW, tRump???!?!?!??!?!

Do the Rs really take governing seriously?
You wouldn't know it from the goofballs they get to run for office.
What is still amazing is that almost 50% fall for it...

Where have all the flowers gone?

just to keep him pissed off. But also some strategic ones. Ones that will provoke responses from him that even at least some of his cretinous followers will see as unacceptable.

Then again, honestly, I fear he is correct that he could shoot someone for no reason and most of his supporters would still vote for him.

Still, we've got to try. Come on clever people, think of some good bait!
