Trump asks why US can't use nukes: MSNBC
Source: CNBC
Donald Trump asked a foreign policy expert advising him why the U.S. can't use nuclear weapons, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said on the air Wednesday, citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee.
"Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can't we use them," Scarborough said on his "Morning Joe" program.
Scarborough made the Trump comments 52 seconds into an interview with former Director of Central Intelligence and ex-National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden.

I think it's appropriate that they are being undone by their own political cowardice.

(22,670 posts)We're all about a political debate between candidates, but Drumpf is asking about why we cannot use nuclear weapons. Since when is that a subject of conversation and under what circumstances would you, as a Drumpf supporter, support a candidate tossing around the idea of using nukes during peacetime?
Roll reverse. How you, as a Drumpf supporter, feel if HRC was the one asking on multiple occasions why we cannot use nukes during peacetime?
Scary. Scary! SCARY!!

In any event we kind of ceded the moral high ground in this area years ago thanks really to Truman's racist war hawk Secretary of Defense.
So the Donald as usual is acting like a ten year old kid.
If the republicans don't go to the extreme and dump this clown this election might make the McGovern-Nixon 1972 race look like a squeaker by comparison.
