LePage speaks about Trump's comments on the Khan family

Source: CBS

Governor Paul LePage is weighing in on the criticism Donald Trump is facing with the Khan family.

"I don't believe for one second that he said that he was going after a Gold Star mom. So I think, slip of the tongue and everyone's making a big deal about it," says Gov. Paul LePage, (R) Maine.

Gov. LePage says he supports Trump because he believes the Republican candidate can use his business experience to deal with the country's huge deficit.

Lepage also says he believes Trump will keep us safe.

Also, LePage is planning on attending Trump's upcoming Maine rally even though other leading Maine Republicans like Susan Collins are steering clear.

this election has clearly, unequivocally done is demonstrate the duplicitous dishonesty of a lot of these jackasses and their absolute total lack of respect for the intelligence of the American public.
