Donald Trump, who is planning a visit to Wisconsin this week, continued sparring Monday with the parents of a fallen U.S. soldier, fanning one of the fiercest controversies of his hot-button presidential campaign.

The Trump campaign said it has made tentative plans to visit Green Bay on Friday, less than two weeks after running mate Mike Pence stumped in Waukesha.

A Trump visit would send a signal the GOP nominee is serious about contesting Wisconsin, a state where he lost the Republican primary and has consistently trailed Democrat Hillary Clinton in the polls.

Trump has lost ground to Clinton in new national surveys after last week’s Democratic convention. In one new CNN national poll, taken Friday through Sunday, Clinton leads Trump by nine points, 52% to 43%..............................

My sentiments exactly.

Do we really have this many people with no soul, values, or working brains? Come on! Drumpf has been doing everything in his power to turn voters off AND STILL they align with him. That's the truly insane aspect of this for me.

I am familiar with the area, have some friends up there, and um, yeah, Mr. Trump would have a fan base amongst the population.

Especially from green Bay north all the way thru the UP

When T. talked about deportating Mexicans though, there was some push back from the dairy farmers. They milk the cows and are farm hands . So don't mess with the Cheese!

on the stage or any republican crony in the state, and another Gold Star mother asks him (herr drumpf), Walker, Johnson what they think of this jerk-------------which won't mean much, they all lack empathy, and they both said they endorsed this narcissistic fascists
