UPPER DEERFIELD TWP. -- A man was shot multiple times by state police after troopers were directed to respond to an incorrect address for a 911 hang-up call late Friday night, authorities said.

The Attorney General's Shooting Response Team is investigating the incident in Cumberland County which left a 76-year-old man critically injured.

In a statement released Saturday, authorities said police dispatchers received a 911 call from a cell phone shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Friday, but the caller hung up before contact was made.

Authorities say an attempt was made to trace the phone call so that police could check on the well-being of the caller.

"Authorities say an attempt was made to trace the phone call so that police could check on the well-being of the caller."

I guess they determined that he didn't have enough holes in him for his well-being. Great job officers.

What, it was a hot and muggy night, and they were there to provide him some ventilation?

Someone in your family will get shot.

Rule #2: Don't be black ever
Someone will get shot.

Rule #3: Do everything the police say
Someone will get shot if you don't (or in Castile's case, you will get shot even if you do everything you're told).

My wife says it best.

"Chinese cops are useless. American cops are dangerous."

The cops in "blue" are mostly asleep in the station, drinking three hour baijiu lunches, collecting bribes and pretty much doing nothing.

The traffic police are even worse.

The cops in "black" are the ones who you don't screw with.

According to the article they were shining flashlights through the rear sliding glass doors after they didn't get an answer at the front door. The homeowner got one shot off with his shotgun at some point in the exchange. I hope he recovers.

And I will bet that the homeowner will be charged with attempted capitol murder of a Law Enforcement Officer.
After all,he did shoot at them.
In case it is needed.
