Marion County man from infamous 'spousal rape' trial arrested on rape charges

Whitney M. Woodworth, Statesman Journal 8:31 p.m. PDT July 29, 2016

A 59-year-old Marion County man, who was made infamous in 1978 as the first man in American history to go to trial for raping his wife while they were living together, was arrested on two new counts of first-degree rape Thursday.

Rapists don't just hang it up for a few decades and go back to it for shits and giggles when they're almost 60.

Who wants to bet other women come forward with rape claims now that he's in custody?
