Trump: I should have let Cruz get 'ripped' off stage

Source: USA Today

Donald Trump says he should have let Ted Cruz be “ripped … off the stage” after his speech at the Republican convention last week in which he famously did not endorse Trump.

In an interview with Mark Halperin of Showtime’s The Circus, Trump said that he walked onto the stage at the right time to save Cruz from the angry crowd — but maybe he shouldn’t have.

“In retrospect, I wish I would have waited another minute. Because he was being booed right off the stage,” Trump said according to pre-released text. The full interview will air Sunday at 8 p.m.

“I walked in and the arena went crazy,” Trump added. “Because there’s great unity in the Republican Party, and people don’t know it. Had I not walked in, I think that audience would have ripped him off the stage. I think I did him a big favor.”

It is a sound and reasonable fear to worry about Trump getting his unethical hands on the Oval Office.

This article and others like it have been published at least three times in recent months. Someone is trying to send us a message. I think somebody wants us to realize that Trump has dementia. Like another Presidential candidate... remember?

From the article:

“Has the person become agitated, aggressive, irritable, or temperamental?” the questionnaire asks. “Does she/he have unrealistic beliefs about her/his power, wealth or skills?”
