Ukraine-US 'Sea Breeze 2016' drills enter active phase

This year military exercises are said to be the largest in the whole range of joint Ukrainian-U.S. naval maneuvers

Odesa held the opening ceremony launching the active phase of the Ukrainian-US military exercises ‘Sea Breeze 2016'.

Ukraine's Defence Ministry reports, the event was attended by Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Ukraine's Defence Minister Stepan Poltorak, Moldova's Defence Minister Anatol Salaru and Ambassadors of countries participating in the exercise.

Srepan Poltorak said, Ukrainian servicemen start their practical training along with their American counterparts and military from partner states start.

The more they are exposed to the many free counties military will help them be less corrupt. Russia is building new facilities on the Ukrainian border and has involved tens of thousands in "drills and exercises" along Ukraine's border.
