NRA leader: Clinton Supreme Court means ‘your right to own a firearm is gone’

Source: The Hill

July 19, 2016, 09:23 pm

Chris Cox, the executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, warned that gun ownership rights could be lost if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, in an address to the Republican National Convention Tuesday night.

“It’s that simple, a Hillary Clinton Supreme Court means your right to own a firearm is gone,” said Cox.

In his speech, Cox said he wanted to discuss “a very personal freedom” with the crowd in Cleveland: “your right to protect your life.”

Cox warned that “we live in dangerous times” because “our government has failed to keep us safe.”

On a side note, I would sure hate to be one of the "scared of your own shadow" member of the NRA. Hell, puppies and kittens probably cause them nightmares.

Then they re-assumed the fetal position and started screeching about what was in store if one or two SCOTUS positions changed. The one constant trait of the NRA and its supporters is rampant paranoia---they genuinely enjoy being afraid.

just last week, in a form of vigilante justice being carried out by people that had AR-15's and other assault weapons that used bullets to pierce a bullet proof vests and the paranoia sweeping the country, you and your organization right along with Gun Owners of America, National Shooting Sports Foundation and Smith and Wesson, Sturm Ruger, Glock, just to name a few have created this situation with your right wing dogma and you are in my opinion the face of death and have no moral conscience.

"Cox warned that “we live in dangerous times” because “our government has failed to keep us safe.”

Just re-think about what you said in that comment, you have paid off the lackeys in this elected government to "not keep us safe" its like in Superman comics your ilk is just like Mr. Mxyzptlk, you twist words.

And to add something that your ilk keeps forgetting to recite or remember is this "A well Regulated Militia"

You do fully understand what the word militia means in those four words, and it having to be well regulated.
So in the mean time go F*** yourself, why hasn't anyone from your board member empire been to the funerals.

And you know what, I want someone on the U.S. Supreme Court that will protect myself, my family and the country from your ilk and the guy that just got nominated to run for the fascists party of Toilet Paper (trump & pence)

Make the NRA pay the 180 to 230 billion dollars a year bill gun violence causes. I know, that's not how it works.

But I guess the idiots that vote GOP can't quite get there. Saying they are intellectually challenged is being too kind.

I imagine young baby birds with their mouths wide open, waiting for pieces of food or wisdom being dispensed by the NRA.

Yet gun ownership gets more lax and NO ONE loses their guns. I mean I'm still waiting for Obama to take everyone's guns - he only has a few months left to rounded them up!!
