Ex Staffer Alleges Trump Misused Funds, Set Up Fake Company

Source: Huffington Post

A former Donald Trump campaign staffer says in response to a Trump lawsuit against him that the campaign may have broken laws against mingling corporate and campaign funds.

Sam Nunberg, in a legal answer to a $10 million lawsuit claiming Nunberg violated a confidentiality agreement, said Trump may have illegally funneled corporate money into the campaign, and created a fictitious company that was listed as a plaintiff in the lawsuit.

Nunberg was fired from Trump’s presidential campaign last summer, after it was revealed that he had posted racist messages on Facebook. Trump’s lawsuit against him, made public on Wednesday, claims Nunberg in May told the New York Post about a public screaming match between two top Trump staffers: campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks, and Trump’s then-campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski. Nunberg vehemently denies leaking the story. . . .

Nunberg says in his answer to the lawsuit that the Trump campaign illegally created a fictitious company, called Trump 2012 PCA. The company is listed as a plaintiff in the suit against Nunberg, along with Trump’s formal campaign.

The Don filed a lawsuit against Sam Nunberg, claiming he leaked info about an affair between two other staffers. Nunberg has responded with legal claims that are far more damning.

One "advisor" quoted in the article says this is going to be "all-out war" and that Nunberg will "go for the throat."

They want a horse race and are entertained by the con man.

It may be reported once than forgotten. One of the many scandals against him. If we had a real media that did its job we would not have Cheeto man being in distance in distance of beating Hillary.

I question the motivation for the note, but I like it.

All too often, folks think all journalists and news outlets are vast conspiracies aligned to present the worst image of whatever cause with which the complainer aligns herself. The truth is that news outlets vary widely when it comes to political ideology, but that only a few of the more popular news outlets make overt attempts to advocate for one or another party (I'm looking at you Fox News, CNN and MSNBC). Yet even that is not the truth of why our news giants are so awful. The real reason our news sucks (including Huffington Post) is because the real customer for those networks are the advertisers. The viewer is the product they are selling to corporate interests, and this means the goal is to keep the viewer staring at the screen, buying the shit they see on the screen, or working hard to make money to buy the shit they see on the screen.

Real news is an occasional happenstance.

If you are not paying for your news through subscriptions to newspapers or other news outlets, then the organization providing the news has little motivation to provide you with accurate, timely and useful news that has value to you.

News isn't free. If you are not buying your news, then your news is selling you.

but a part of me would be curious to see the GOP try to cut ties with their elected candidate. Their candidate who loves to sue people and get revenge for even petty slights.

is give more weight to the claims than anything and it will end up hurting Trump even more if not (hopefully) end up with him seeing the inside of a prison cell.
