Ark Encounter opens to public Thursday

Source: WLWT

"I believe this is going to be one of the greatest Christian outreaches of this era in history," said Ken Ham, president of Answers in Genesis, the ministry that built the ark.

Or, as P.T. Barnum put it.....

Can someone explain why the workers all have hard hats and safety vests? I fairly sure that Noah didn't...

story. Their hearts and intentions may be well founded but their belief system is a desperate fantasy based on fear.

in the Epic of Gilgamesh...in fact most cultures have a epic flood story that is somewhat similar. All it might prove is that at one time in early history, there was a big flood...somewhere on the planet.

Unless they add a lot and make it into an amusement park atmosphere. I'm sure Disney would not be what it is today had they not expanded. Dollywood too. This place may do fine.

Since taxpayers funded a large portion of this 'project' someone should revive the Golden Fleece award because it is certainly an incredible waste of taxpayer monies, especially since it encourages faux science and favors one specific religion over others in our multi-cultural society.

These people have shite for brains. What's really sad is that families will travel to it in hordes to see the stupid thing. Much like the Water Park and Hotel built by Jim and Tammy Faye Baker back in the 80s. "I'm so proud to be an American"
