Defiant Trump Defends Use of Image Seen as Anti-Semitic

Donald J. Trump on Wednesday offered a defiant defense of his campaign’s decision to publish an image widely viewed as anti-Semitic — saying he regretted deleting it — and vigorously reaffirmed his praise of Saddam Hussein, the murderous Iraqi dictator.

In the span of 30 minutes, an often-shouting Mr. Trump breathed new life into a controversy that was sparked on Saturday by his posting of an image on his Twitter account of a six-pointed star next to a picture of Hillary Clinton, with money seeming to rain down in the background. The image was quickly, and broadly, criticized for invoking stereotypes of Jews. Mr. Trump deleted it two hours later, and replaced the star image with a circle.

“ ‘You shouldn’t have taken it down,’ ” Mr. Trump recalled telling one of his campaign workers. “I said, ‘Too bad, you should have left it up.’ I would have rather defended it.”

“That’s just a star,” Mr. Trump said repeatedly.

4. Listening to his rants on everything but politics and America issues, I believe Donald

is INSANE. or really senile. He rants against Chuck Todd, CNN, MSNBC, praising Saddam, who was a murder of his own people. The GOP is in SERIOUS trouble as they will lost house and senate members as Trump gets dumped in November. The RNC says it has to support Donald, they will not back down on him and supporting him at the convention.
Democrats hopefully are smart this year and take advantage of winning many seats back in DC.

6. It is fashionable.

To mock, ignore, denigrate, or trivialize anti-Semitism is a game everyone plays and have been for millennia; well, at least two. he knows how to appeal to a needed base and pit one group against another in order to draw fire away from himself. The Jews on the right, may stop buying into his bullshit, but I don't know. We are used to this type of shit and often shrug our shoulders after making a bit of stink about it because we know, in the grand scheme, no one will really care. So, for the Jews on the right, it comes down to what "kind" of anti-Semitism is it; the really odious ones like Christ-killer and controllers of government, or the more "positive" ones about money and shrewdness. The latter may draw ire, but often fade with time until the come up again...and again...and again. The former are the ones more likely to get us killed, so they tend to be handled much differently.

Saddam fired Scuds into Israel during Desert Storm. Combine that with Trump's defense of the star, and I'd say that Abe Foxman has a damn good case if he wants to make it!
