Hillary Clinton Opens Up Lead Over Donald Trump in Florida, New Poll Shows

A new Quinnipiac University poll released this morning shows Hillary Clinton opening up a lead over Donald Trump in the key swing state of Florida.
The presumptive Democratic nominee earned 47 percent support in the new poll vs. Trump at 39 percent. In early May, Clinton and Trump were locked in a virtual tie.

(23,155 posts)This is teapartier central. I will say it's not like it was when Romney and Bush were running. Then you saw their signs everywhere here in redneckville. So, based on the volumes, Drumpf isn't getting all the conservatives on his side. My friend who's Repug but is smart otherwise, hates him.

Also despite all state senators up for reelection in 2016, I've read newspapers call Joe Negron the next President of the Senate. It's ridiculous down here. If the Dems can take back the Florida Senate that would be epic. Still it's highly unlikely but with the new districts it's possible. I read Obama won 21 of the 40 new districts back 2012.
