Primary this Pathetic Politician back to private life. Surely, she could get a job as manager at one of these Payday Loan places.

If anyone still believes that huge money interests haven't taken over control of the Democratic Party I don't know what proof they need to see.
The party will implode after the appointed one loses to that bloviating idiot Trump.

(1,000 posts)First of all, please know that I am NOT a gun advocate, I do not own a gun, and I believe there are way too many guns in the USA and we need more regulations and I am all for gun registration.
Having said that, I do not understand how a victim of gun violence suing a gun manufacturer solves anything.
If the manufacturer is making and providing a legal product, if there is nothing malfunctioning in the product they sell, I don't think they can be held responsible for the products misuse by a criminal or fool.
Can I sue a car manufacturer if I get drunk and pull onto the freeway going the wrong way and cause a head on collision. Am I totally and completely to blame? Yes. so why would someone sue the car company for my deadly use of its legally sold product.

(47,733 posts)for the Democratic party and it has nothing to do with her support of Hillary Clinton. DWS is a terrible DNC chair and cost the party seats and governorships in 2014. She should have been replaced a long time ago. If she wants to stay in politics, perhaps she should switch parties as she comes across much more like a republican than a Democrat.

Because our biases prevent us from listening to that which would invalidate those same biases. A 15 second google search yielded many results, but no doubt-- that same bias would compel you to dismiss them without rational or critical reasons.

She took payday loan payola and slams a leading D Senator. Still think SHE is a D?
Tim was flirting with 1 million raised this month from small individual donations. He has more in state donations than DWS!

Payday lenders get a new ally.
03/01/2016 11:04 am ET | Updated May 17, 2016
WASHINGTON Payday lenders have been gunning for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau since the day President Barack Obama tapped Elizabeth Warren to set up the new agency. Theyve had plenty of help from congressional Republicans longtime recipients of campaign contributions from the payday loan industry. As the CFPB has moved closer to adopting new rules to shield families from predatory lending, the GOP has assailed the agency from every conceivable angle going after its budget, attempting to tie its hands with new layers of red tape, fomenting conspiracy theories about rogue regulators illegally shutting down businesses and launching direct attacks on payday loan rules themselves.
To date, the GOP blitz has resulted in a few close shaves for the young agency, but no actual defeats. But the industry has cultivated a powerful new ally in recent weeks: Democratic National Committee Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.).
Wasserman Schultz is co-sponsoring a new bill that would gut the CFPBs forthcoming payday loan regulations. Shes also attempting to gin up Democratic support for the legislation on Capitol Hill, according to a memo obtained by The Huffington Post.
LISTEN to HuffPosts analysis of the bill in the latest episode of the So That Happened politics podcast below. The discussion begins at the 53:35 mark:

How could anyone so completely opposed to the ideals of the democratic party become the leader of the democratic party? How could someone who openly supports republicans over democrats in elections keep their job as leader of the democratic party?
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
