Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are locked in an extremely tight race for Kentucky, with only a few thousand votes separating the two Democratic primary contenders with 99 percent of precincts reporting. The Associated Press said Tuesday night that the race was too close to call.
The lack of a decisive win combined with an expected victory for Sanders later this evening in Oregon would be a major irritant for Clinton, who has already launched the early stages of an all-out assault on Donald Trump, despite not being able to shake a dogged Sanders.
With all but 2 percent of precincts reporting on Tuesday night, Clinton led Sanders by a razor-thin margin 46.7 percent to 46.3 percent.

(67,782 posts)....win/lose, it's basically an even split, which in the big picture puts Sanders even further behind - he needed a 65-35 win to keep up.

And in Oregon later tonight it will be a similar result, a close win either way.
This is like a chess tournament, once one player has a one or two game lead, draws the rest of the way doesn't change the ultimate result.

win for Bernie and a warning to the DNC.
Yeah, sure, she'll be the nominee but any time an underdog is in a dead heat tie with the designated, chosen and virtually crowned nominee, the underdog has won an upset.
She's a weak candidate and is only doing as well as she is because of the horror show that is Trump. She's proof that the Democratic party is in bad shape.
Her supporters don't seem to care about this.

(67,782 posts)...as is Oregon, where again he needed a 30% win and he's only ahead by a mere 5%.
This is over.
I don't know where you come up with "only doing as well as she is because of the horror show that is Trump". She's running against Sanders, and she's beating him week after week.

(24,010 posts)And so do the millions of others in my state. We have enough votes and delegates to give Sanders the nomination or to stop Clinton and take it to the convention.
WE GET TO VOTE! GET IT?
