(32,324 posts)Great to hear this news.
And I certainly hope no Bernie voters accidentally knocked over any chairs in those polling places there in KY. I'd hate to hear of another "Bernie supporter riot!"
This is what democracy looks like.

Someone knocks over a chair and BOOM, it is the end of sanity.
Never mind that Hill's mentor Kissinger has done a whole lot more than knock over a few chairs.

(23,955 posts)while some do prefer to "mail it in" a week in advance, a lot of us like to take our time, vote over the weekend, and then drop off our ballots by hand.
if there are exit pollsters, they're probably hanging out around the drop boxes. naturally this underreports the "mail it in early" voters, but any early returns should be regarded with extreme skepticism anyway.

(16,375 posts)It's a mail in only state, so election day drop offs don't necessarily mean much at all.
That said, there's no way Oregon doesn't go big for Bernie provided the vetting and counting process is as clean as Oregonians think it is.

(8,175 posts)I didn't understand that poll (from Oregon Live), because everything I've heard from Oregonians was pretty positive for Bernie.
Will be on pins and needles till tonight. This is my state. I want my state to be a Bernie state.
"Bernie or bust!" exclaimed Sellwood acupuncturist Amanda Real. That seemed to be the prevailing feeling at the Portland neighborhood drop-off site, with overwhelming support for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and, in some cases, extreme distrust of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

(13,920 posts)Although the more votes he gets, the closer he gets to her totals.. the more she really has to consider what he has to say and what she has to do to earn those votes in the GE. Every vote he gets is good for all the rest of us, and for the principles that Bernie has been championing. Thats a win, even if its not the win we wanted.

I just can't make up my mind who I want to win or lose !
(CNN)Hillary Clinton will be the "unofficial winner" of Kentucky's Democratic primary, the state's secretary of state told CNN Tuesday.
"I do believe ... that based on what we are seeing coming in, that Kentucky will remain in a win column for the Clintons," Kentucky secretary of state Alison Lundergan Grimes told Wolf Blitzer. "Hillary Clinton will be the unofficial winner."
It would be a razor-thin win for Clinton. With 99% of the vote in, Clinton is ahead of Sanders 46.7% to 46.3%. Clinton and Sanders have flipped back and forth in the lead through the evening as votes come in across the state.
For its part, the Clinton campaign claimed victory.
"We just won Kentucky!" the campaign twee
Chris here
donuts simply are too , winners one and all !
Hello folks Ben here !
You know i placed Bernie Sanders on Trump's short list for vp, but you know Trump rejected the idea . I think Trump wants Palin because he really wants somebody stupid to make him look smart. After all it is the stupid stuff that made Trump. And if Trump were to win than walk out on his first term ,the nation would be stuck with a deep dumb thinker. That or he's afraid of a vp pick who is in fact smarter than he is.
I am beginning to think the best bet is to dump Trump !
