Hillary Clinton-loving actor got into a violent political argument with a female Bernie Sanders supporter — and allegedly wound up hitting the woman in the head outside an Atlanta hotel, according to a report.

Wendell Pierce, who starred in the crime drama “The Wire,” was arrested on battery charges Saturday for assaulting the woman at the Loews Hotel, TMZ reported.

The 52-year-old TV performer, a big Clinton fan, flew into his rage at 3:30 a.m., while discussing the 2016 presidential race with the victim and her boyfriend, the site said.

...that multiple sources claim the woman "stepped into an altercation" already underway, which paints a different picture. Remember, at this point it is an "alleged' assault, and it sounds like there are witnesses that have different stories. The police will release an incident report sometime today.
