The Latest: Suspect Threatened to 'Commit Suicide by Cop'

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
BETHESDA, Md. — May 6, 2016, 4:18 PM ET

The Latest on the three fatal shootings in the Washington suburbs (all times local):

4:15 p.m.

Authorities say the federal security officer suspected in three fatal shootings in the Washington, D.C. area had threatened to "commit suicide by cop."

That detail was in a flyer the Prince George's County Police Department released Thursday asking for the public's help to locate Eulalio Tordil.

Tordil was taken into custody without incident on Friday.

The first shooting occurred Thursday at a high school. Authorities said Tordil followed his 44-year-old wife Gladys to their children's high school and killed her as she waited in an SUV.
