It's the delegate count that matters.
This is as close as that gets without being a tie. Hillary takes 43 of 71 delegates, the rest are Sanders.
With the exception of one state, all the races were close.
Clinton is winning squeakers. There is nothing huge about it.

The HRC campaign confident of victory now. And with good reason.

Bernie laying off staff. HRC switching resources to the battleground states. The math tells the story.

All over but the confetti and some teeth gnashing.Losing a hard-fought political campaign is hard. Ask Hillary on that one.

But the real measure is how you pick yourself up and what you do next.

Then - on to VICTORY in November.

It's gonna be a wild ride and the Democrats will need all the help they can get against a desperate and relentless and super-funded #GOP.

Time for the Republicans to unite around Clinton.
For those of us seeking real change, not so much.
Some people in America are voting their conscience, and for a better world tomorrow, not for one party or another.
I'm sorry, but Hillary Clinton does not represent the conscience of America, or the future.

I don't remember ever talking so badly about a fellow democratic opponent. If you're a Bernie supporter, he deserves better than to have someone so negative backing him. Bernie and Hillary are dignified great people. Try to support them as you would expect them to support and stand up for you.

As a democrat, I've witnessed a lot of losses. It hurts to see the candidate you support lose. But it happens. You pick yourself up, dust yourself off and you keep fighting for what's right. Torching the building and lashing out is undignified. The GOP is without conscience. Don't lose sight of that.

Most of the real Sander supporters will probably support Clinton eventually. The right wing trolls never will.

...and that's what we'll need in November.
Sanders can't even beat Hillary, how can he hope to prevail in a general election?

BTW...You know Republicans see Hillary as a far left liberal, don't you? Find all the Republicans you know and tell them Hillary's one of them and see if you can get them to choke on their own laughter.

Never said Sanders could or could not beat Clinton.
As for your claim that Clinton represents the majority, that's just campaign spin, and you have nothing, zero, zilch fact to base the assertion on.
Know a team is desperate when they start posting their wishes as if they were fact.

I say she represents the majority of voters. I say that because she has collected the vast majority of votes for the Democratic nomination. 3 million more votes than Sanders.

You're right however, people do fall for untruths when they so desperately wish them to be true, like when his supporters claim he can beat Trump by a bigger margin, America votes for Socialism, or that Hillary supporters shut down Facebook accounts.

24. Why
Wed Apr 27, 2016, 02:24 PM
Apr 2016

Because my opinions are different than yours?
I would never, ever support a Republican. However, I simply cannot support Clinton, and that is based wholly on her own record and her own actions.
That fact does not make me a Repub, nor does it mean I am not a strong supporter of the Democratic Party.
As for the TOS, I don't think anything in it requires me to think like you, or to not have a dissenting opinion. If it does, than it is not worth the space it is written on.
It is also not yet the General Election. According to the TOS I read, until the candidates from the major parties are determined, we are allowed to express our concern, and to dissent where we feel dissent is needed.

Clinton may have won those caucuses, but most of them were by mere single digit percentiles.
Those are not winner take all states.
I think whittling primary wins down to sport analogies demonstrates a shallowness of understanding.

Thank you for your objections. I wonder why you didn't have them sooner.

As far as single digits:

NY 58% to 42%
Delaware 60% to 39%
Maryland 63% to 33%
Pennsylvania 55% to 44%
Connecticut 52% to 46%

...Well, one out of five ain't too bad for a rant.

We won't ever be anywhere near equality until we can elect a President based on the content of their character and the strength of their platform over their sex.

....in HRC we have the whole package!
She's not perfect but she a very decent person, extremely hard working, an effective leader AND she's winning!

She's also running a very effective and clean and clever campaign. that also makes her a stand-out this election season. That gives me hope for November.

But I don't think it's going to be easy to defeat the #GOP. The dirty tricks will be relentless.

she is the same age as I am and the thing I admire the most about her is her g.d. stamina! For gawd's sake, I'm in my p.j's and bed by 9:30 PM and I'm in really good physical health. My little grandbaby wears me out after one day of babysitting.

You go, Girl!

She is the only qualified candidate in this race. And that is clear to the whole world.
