Explosives stolen from Detroit-bound train recovered in Detroit neighborhood

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Less than a day after more than 500 pounds of commercial grade fireworks were reported stolen from a CSX train to Detroit, federal authorities say they have found them.
7 Action News has learned that 30 boxes of explosives were found in a Detroit neighborhood and the boxes were still full.
Right now, there are no suspects, but officials are canvassing the neighborhood to see what they can find.
The train was traveling from Chicago, through Ohio and into Detroit, and officials were checking each stop along the route to determine how long the train was there.
