Fox News Poll: Trump, Clinton rule Empire State

...........Clinton’s the top choice among Democrats, as Bernie Sanders is only able to take the lead among younger voters and men..................

In the race for the Democratic nomination, Sanders is hoping to turn the momentum from his double-digit Wisconsin win into a home state victory in New York.

The trouble for Sanders is, Wisconsin is the kind of state he wins -- mostly white and independents could participate in the open primary. New York is a more diverse state, and has a closed primary -- ..........................Plus, it’s been her home state more recently than Sanders.

The poll shows Clinton tops Sanders by 53-37 percent among NY likely Democratic primary voters. ...........

Clinton’s clearly the pick among women (61-30 percent) and non-whites (56-37 percent).
.......................

“Sanders has a lot of work to do if he’s going to make this race a close one,” says Anderson. “He’s currently losing among every demographic group with the exception of men and voters under age 45. Many more middle-age New Yorkers are going to have to feel the Bern for Sanders to have a chance of catching Clinton.”

................
The former NY senator holds a 27-point advantage among voters 45 and over (58-31 percent).

Among those living in a union household, Clinton’s up by 49-40 percent.

She also leads among Jewish voters (59-35 percent) as well as Catholics (53-34 percent).

Regionally, Clinton dominates Sanders in New York City (+19) and is even running slightly ahead beyond the city and its suburbs..............

It boggles the mind that the House Speaker who impeached Clinton for Lewinsky affair was a serial child molester.

And we know the rules well, Bernie will be in Binghamton Tomorrow and that question will be asked about the rules on how you win a state and receive less delegates.

That's what happened to her in 2008 in Nevada. Nobody here cared because Obama was that year's preferred candidate. My mother left the party because of it.

The Hastert revelations are disgusting and the hypocrisy of the Republican Party has become a given anymore. They are the embodiment of everything that is ugly about people, perhaps that's what draws this part of our population to them.

Really?

Not surprising, I was on Free Republic last night reading their posts. The overall consensus is they want a Clinton win. They think they have a much better chance to win against her. She units the Repubs more than their own nominees.

The thought of having two Clintons in the Whitehouse has their heads exploding.

much higher than that even, among Democrats alone.

And the Independents won't be coming out for Bernie in NY. The primary is only open to Dems.

Considered an objective measure of how liberal a House or Senate member is. I recall that her 95% rating was higher than John Kerry's when he was running for the 2004 nomination.

Current poll: 16% lead
IIRC, a poll on Friday had an 18% lead, down 50pts. From a month ago.
If this trend continues, the race could be tied by the date of the primary.

She's been polling in the mid-50s for months. This just confirms the trend. She isn't losing ground and has a majority.

And still in the polling I've seen more recently, is showing that Hillary Clinton has a "sold" to "larger" lead over Bernie Sanders in New York.

Hillary Clinton and camp will surely welcome this polling news concerning New York.

Likely voters, eh? You mean those that have voted before? They missed all the millennials, and probably most of the cell phone only people. Then, again, they will be in shock when Bernie wins 52-48.
