Source: AFP

Brussels (AFP) - A number of Americans were among those killed in this week's Brussels bomb attacks, US Secretary of State John Kerry and Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said Friday.

It does seem that they were targeting Americans at the airport bombing - the bomb went off right where people were checking in for a flight to the US. Motherfuckers.

In the same report they said that the bombs went off near the entrance.
The graphic they showed put the United, American, and Delta check-in desks further down the concourse. So, if they were targeting Americans, they did a poor job of it.
Luckily.....for some.

with connections to Raleigh. (Jim Cain is a big NC Republican.)

United States officials confirmed Friday that Americans Alexander Pinczowski and his sister, Sascha Pinczowski, were among those killed in this week’s terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium.

Alexander Pinczowski was engaged to the daughter of Jim Cain, who served as the U.S. ambassador to Denmark from 2005 to 2009. Cain was also the CEO of the Carolina Hurricanes from 2000 to 2002.
