I know it sucks, but the results are pretty clear at this point.

You can look at scores of precincts that have reported and compare them to the prior election's returns. If Walker won two years ago by 5-6% and is outperforming (or at least equalling) his 2010 results in almost every county so far... he's won.

We were hoping that it would be close enough that it would "take hours" (days really)... but it looks worse than that.

early returns are consistent with the model, they extrapolate the numbers for the electorate.

Early returns are showing Walker with a 20-point lead; however, those numbers are skewed based on the areas that have reported tidbits that support their partisan position.

To come up with a projection of the winner based on a small percentage of the vote. At least that's the way they used to say it was done.

I can't believe people would not vote this guy out of office. I hope NBC is wrong. If not, then maybe a Walker indictment can get the job done that Wisconsin voters were too ignorant to accomplish.

... and if those 22% of precincts comprise a large enough percentage of voters, it is indeed possible to make a reasonably reliable call of the election results, since the number of available votes in the remaining precincts is not likely to be sufficient to offset the lead.

David Shuster, on Current, is on the ground in Madison and said we shouldn't expect results until early tomorrow morning, and that those 2 counties, specifically, lean 65% Dem to 35% GOP ... and those were the 2 places where the lines were over crowded and they had to bring in extra poll workers.

Counting has barely begun, folks.

It's still less than 30% precincts that are in as I'm typing this. Hasn't the media learned from what happened with the GOP in Iowa about calling the elections too early? For example, they originally projected that Mitt Robme was the winner, then it was Rick Santorum, and finally Ron Paul

the corp news never told the hard truth (except Ed Schulz, Al Sharpton, Rachel Maddow) . It make me sick watching corp news in the past month leading up to these elections.

It is it going to get worse.

You can't overcome the propaganda put out by Fox News, by Right Wing ads but Rightwing Radio.

There was a reason there were limits on campaigns money from wealthy people and corporations.

The money buys the elections.

Face it.
The Republicans are who the American People really want to control their lives.

We'll get a government based on the bible, abortion made illegal, science demoted to the back room where it belongs, damned foreigners thrown out of our country, ability to kill anyone of color we don't like without consequences and the freedom make the world as hot as we want.

The trade off is that we allow our salaries to decline, our jobs to disappear, give up medical treatment, accept contaminated food and water and lose all ability for legal restitution if a company screws us over.

That trade off is SO worth it!

Yeah!

I hear the exit polls in Wisconsin, of the Wisconsin voters,
indicate President Obama is preferred over Mitt Romney.

I have a concern for President Obama.

When the Romney SuperPACs are done being negative about President Obama,
I fear some voters, who said they would vote for President Obama during the exit polls,
will decide not to vote for President Obama in November.

I fear there will be enough people, if they hear the same thing over and over long enough,
will be brainwashed. Money talks.

A very sad day indeed.

Wed Jun 6, 2012, 11:04 AM
Jun 2012

a state that once was one of the progressive states in the country. Even with the corrupt scandals of his aides, this tyrannical cretin still remains. And now that he has been given a mandate (however small) watch the dictator screw the people in wisconsin even more. I have no hope for the plebes in this country, most would cut off their nose to spite their face. The global corporations and people like kochs want a third world banana republic where only their power counts and by god they're going to get it. Because, it seems that most people have bought into their greedy, compassionless ideology and now it's confirmed that if you can throw enough money around you can get any fool to vote against their interest. Money, greed trumps all.

A very sad day for wisconsin.

Eight years of a nightmare that not only brought this country down, but most of the world. Greedy, corrupt arsehole gamblers, betting against the american people and we have people still wanting to be whipped by their masters. I don't get it.
