Ex-Mexican President Fox: Donald Trump reminds me of Hitler

Source: CNN

(CNN)Former Mexican President Vicente Fox on Friday kept up his withering criticism of Donald Trump, saying the GOP front-runner reminds him of Adolf Hitler.

"Today, he's going to take that nation (U.S.) back to the old days of conflict, war and everything. I mean, he reminds me of Hitler. That's the way he started speaking," Fox told CNN's Anderson Cooper in a phone interview on "Anderson Cooper 360."

"He has offended Mexico, Mexicans, (and) immigrants. He has offended the Pope. He has offended the Chinese. He's offended everybody."

Fox's comments come one day after he delivered a scathing response on Trump's plan to make Mexico pay for a wall between the Mexico-U.S. border.

that is overlooked because one must take a broad perspective

The public is not focused on this yet.

International capitalists in search of good investment opportunities
were what funded Hitler

This aspect was hushed up after the war, as the Allies co-opted
former Nazis for their technology and the fight against communism

Author Jim Marrs wrote "The Rise Of The Fourth Reich" and states
that although Hitler and his Generals lost the war, the Nazis won
as their ideas were spread globally. It's not a mainstream perspective,
perhaps in part because it was so hush-hush at the time.

But this one does. Trumps sexual issues do seem to be completely different from Hitler's, but the personalities are similar in lots of ways, the style, the complete absence of substance, the grandiosity.

But demagogues are not a new thing at all. Haven't seen them much here for a few decades, but that seems to be breaking down.

And as the fellow above alludes to, he will make a great tool.

But if he had a micro penis that would explain the similarities.

I was wondering who would have the cojones to tell Trump to fuck off and address the insults.

I have new respect for Vincente Fox!

Trump is targeting very specific groups, much as Hitler once did. This time it's primarily Muslims and Mexicans. People of a particular religion - and people of a particular Nationality. He wants to deport, to ban them, to build a wall and somehow force Mexico to pay for it...

You know what this kind of ignorant, hate-filled flag waving amounts to in the end? Lots of dead people, burned books, Nations in ruin, economies, cultures, societies devastated. This is what a Trump Presidency will give us. We should all be very wary of allowing history to repeat itself here.

We need to defeat this madman.

A sure way to instantly lose all credibility from whatever argument you're making.

Hitler waged a world war, and tried to exterminate a race of people. Trump is on record against war, and It's one of his more central campaign themes. And as far as anyone knows, he's never killed anyone.

Not every nationalist turns into Hitler, and I wish people would stop making this stupid comparison. It makes us look like idiots.

After he came to power!

Who did Hitler kill, before he came to power in Germany!

And Hitler wasn't calling for war initially, he realized that the German people had to be brought along slowly, and that more important topics like the economy had to be addressed first.

Trump is also on record in supporting the Iraq war: http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/feb/19/donald-trump-confronted-with-past-support-for-iraq-war

People always fall back on so and so hasn't done what Hitler did, but they always seem to forget that Hitler didn't do any of that until he and his henchmen were in charge!

Personally, I don't want to wait until Trump, Rubio, or Cruz is signing an executive order, that sends all Muslims to camps, before we start to make the comparisons!

Let's face facts folks, Hitler was the republican, the conservative, the right-winger with the most followers.

Demagoues are people who knowingly con the unknowing. If the wig fits ...
