Trump blasts RNC: Stop using my name to raise money

Source: New York Post

Donald Trump denounced the Republican National Committee Saturday for using his popularity to shill for cash.

The RNC sent an e-mail hours before Saturday’s South Carolina debate asking supporters to give between $35 and $250 to “Get on Trump’s List.”

“If you put your name on his list of active party supporters, he will proudly see your name next to the amount you chose to donate to the nominee’s war chest,” the message read.

But Trump said he never approved the solicitation.

The GOP is in such dire straits that they have to con people into giving them money by using the name of a con without his permission. A con who is happy to use other people's names and material without permission, also.

... or at least sheepish. The carnival of the GOP keeps getting crazier and crazier, and I cannot help but be amused. Even though I am perfectly aware (and lament) that it is representative of a deep dysfunction in American society. But then, I always thought that, and so it is nice to feel vindicated, but it is rather like a terminal patient being grimly satisfied that he does, in fact, have the cancer he thought he had.

People forget, that's what he is, a reality TV star. And this sure looks like the same schtick to me.

It's not just disfunctional, it's fictional, a drama unrelated to real life, conducted at the level of sixth-grade playground status disputes.

Have they laid hands on each other yet?

Any donor under a zillion dollars who thinks Trump will read the list is delusional.
