North Korea Reportedly Executes Army Chief Of Staff

Source: Huffington Post

The execution, if true, would be the latest out of a long string of high-level executions under Kim Jong Un's regime.

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea has executed its army chief of staff, Ri Yong Gil, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported on Wednesday, which, if true, would be the latest in a series of executions, purges and disappearances under its young leader.

The news comes amid heightened tension surrounding isolated North Korea after its Sunday launch of a long-range rocket, which came about a month after it drew international condemnation for conducting its fourth nuclear test.

A source familiar with North Korean affairs also told Reuters that Ri had been executed. The source declined to be identified, given the sensitivity of the matter.

As I recall, the last time Kim The Young'un executed one of his senior officials, the guy was stood up and shot with a .50-cal anti-aircraft gun.

Wonder what they did with this guy? Maybe they strapped him to the rocket they launched last week!!!!

NORAD continues to track him as he tumbles uncontrollably and so far has kept a stiff upper lip and remained silent.

Stalin's enemy. The worst was Stalin's friend.

Jabba the Kim seems to follow the same mold. Hell, if he could kill is ex-girlfriend and uncle in a purge, everyone is fair game.

If something about North or South Korea is reported by Yanhap, that is generally the better source.
