(3,282 posts)While Christie was talking about going home and taking stock, they were all saying, basically, once you've thought about dropping out, you're done. You don't go home and wait to see if you placed 5th instead of 6th and you'll stay in.

(16,188 posts)Our state is still trying to pay off his campaign debt (oops! did I say that?), but hey, now we can carry switchblades and have cleaned up the clean up house that watched our elections so the Repugs can do more wonderful things, like limit local control of cities and towns to ask voters for more money to fund schools. After all, we wouldn't want people to make lemonade out of the lemon of cutting 13% funding for our schools from the state. But, hey, we are saving money!! And in debt...
the "school" money would be for more vouchers and charters, money that will NOT help the "general" public schools - you know, the ones where the teachers work that were on Walker's enemy list!

(70,510 posts)Christie has 2 choices:
1) He was clueless as Governor when the busiest bridge in America
was shut down for 4 days. aka he was incompetent
b) He knew all about the shut down and should be held accountable
for his actions.

(70,510 posts)... know that their job is to protect the GOP. In Ohio 2 women (small fish in the scam)
were arrested, tried, and convicted for rigging the 2004 vote recount for Cuyahoga
County (Cleveland) and were headed for prison but a republican judge stopped that
cold. I bet Christie has some judges as firewalls against his prosecution.

NEW HAMPSHIRE (The Borowitz Report)In a stunning announcement on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said that he was dropping out of the Presidential race to focus his energies on tormenting Florida Senator Marco Rubio full-time.
At the end of the day, running for President was interfering with what I really love, which is making Marco Rubios life a living hell, he said. Now I can get up every morning and spend all day just doing that.
Christie said that he had tired of fielding questions about ISIS, immigration, and the economy and having to find some contrived way of answering them with a scathing attack on Rubio. Dont get me wrong, I was great at it, he said. But itll be so much easier to just get out there and start tearing him apart with no pretext whatsoever.
The New Jersey governor, who plans to bring his message of character assassination to all fifty states, did not indicate how he would finance this mission. Ill pay for it myself if I have to, he said. If, looking back on my life, I can say that I ground Marco Rubio into the dirt, I will die a happy man.
