Poll: Sanders Leads Clinton by 20 Points in New Hampshire

Source: NBC News

by MARK MURRAY

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Bernie Sanders maintains a significant double-digit lead over Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, according to an NBC News/Wall Street/Marist poll conducted after Clinton's narrow apparent win in Monday's Iowa caucuses.

Sanders gets the support of 58 percent of likely Democratic primary voters, while Clinton gets 38 percent -- essentially unchanged from last week's NBC/WSJ/Marist poll, which showed Sanders ahead by a 57 percent-to-38 percent margin in the Granite State.

So far in New Hampshire, it's all Sanders as Clinton faces an uphill fight," says pollster Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion.

The new poll numbers come out before Thursday night's debate on MSNBC -- the first one-on-one encounter between Clinton and Sanders. (Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley dropped out of the contest on Monday.)

Is this a trustworthy poll this time? Or do we ignore it?

they are, in my view, purposely inflating what is probably a significant lead to be even bigger, so when bernie actually wins by 10 or 15, they can say that hillary really closed the lead.

just more spinning from corporate m$m for their chosen candidate

Bernie has home field advantage, is the favorite son, and the weather is in his favor.

How can he lose?

How can Hillary lose by only 20 points?

Somebody is sandbagging for Bernie so after the primary he can claim a tremendous victory over Hillary by margins even greater than predicted.

Sanders is not a favorite son. Clinton should do well in a traditionally conservative stronghold, but she is getting blasted hard.

She barely won in Iowa after being predicted to destroy Sanders even on the entrance polls.

This is not good for her.
