Trump accuses Cruz of stealing Iowa caucuses through 'fraud'

Source: Reuters

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday accused rival Ted Cruz of stealing a victory in the Iowa caucuses and called for another vote or nullification of Cruz's win.

Trump, who finished second behind Cruz, lit up Twitter on Wednesday with a series of posts saying the outcome was tainted because the Cruz campaign had deliberately spread misinformation about Trump's stand on Obamacare and an erroneous report that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race.

"Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it," Trump (@realDonaldTrump) tweeted. "That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!"

Twitter was abuzz Wednesday morning over Trump's accusations. Several social media users tweeted screengrabs of an alleged deleted tweet from Trump's official account, in which he said Cruz "illegally" stolen the vote.

"Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified," Trump wrote.

But it will be great for us to quote to show that Republicans think that Republicans commit voter fraud.

if the GOP doesn't agree to your request for an Iowa mulligan, it proves they are incapable of giving you the fairness and deference owed you. as promised, you can always leave the Republicans and run an independent campaign, thus proving the GOP needed you more than you ever needed them. please do this, your dignity demands it!

We all know the list:
Publicizing fake voting dates
Caging voters
Long lines
Etc.

Cruz just turned these type tactics on decentralized opponents. He now has 8 delegates, Trump and Rubio have 7, Carson has 3.

I'm sure there are many in the GOP leadership that despise him.

1. Someone they cannot control

2. Someone who many do not see as conservative enough

3. Also, many other industrial/financial elites like the Koch brothers, who have a yuuuuuuge influence on that party, would definitely not be comfortable with one of their capitalist competitors in the .1 % running the whole ship.

Cruz lied to voters telling them Carson had dropped out of the race and asking them to caucus for him. Now Cruz outtrumps Trump by coming back and calling him a cry baby. And everyone thought Trump was the snake in the grass.
