Tennessee Repub calls reporter a ‘b*tch’ over spending probe — then quits county job

The Republican election commission chair for Davidson County, Tennessee resigned from his position after cursing at a reporter on camera as she pressed him to explain exorbitant expenditures, the Tennessean reported.
Ron Buchanan quit on Monday, before WSMV-TV showed footage of his combative interview with reporter Alanna Autler last Friday.

Autler then follows up, asking, Can you explain the picture frame that was $614? referring to a large frame election administrator Kent Wall bought for the commissions office using a county-issued credit card.
Thats it, he repeats, adding, Thats exactly the b*tch I thought you would be.

Autler used to work here in WV on WOWK. She's an awesome reporter and a a really sweet person.
Glad to see she's still doing great work.

Getting that snippy with a reporter over a legitimate question is simply wrong.
