CNN to hold Iowa Democratic town hall

Source: CNN

Washington (CNN)The Democratic presidential hopefuls will face voters in a CNN town hall on Monday in Des Moines -- one week before the highly anticipated Iowa caucuses.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will field questions from Iowa Democrats in this prime-time event hosted by the Iowa Democratic Party and Drake University.

The town hall, which will be moderated by CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, will air from 9 p.m.-11 p.m. ET, the network announced. A CNN spokesperson added that it will make the town hall available to its Iowa affiliates to air live.

but not by CNN methinks. Got the feeling the Party felt they had to get Clinton in front of the voters one more time before the caucus, given recent polling. Since it is a town hall, she will not be faced with high stakes one-on-one that a debate brings, and can pretty much say anything she wants with little chance Sanders can counter/response effectively. If she is LAST up, then that just about seals it's a deal.

When they toss their strategy out the window, that's when you know the battle is lost.

I will be unsurprised if we see some personnel changes in the near future.

Wonder how Little Debbie coordinated with the Clinton News Network, to get this at the last moment before Iowa happens...

And demand progressive moderators . .

How about the Krugman? Robert Reich? Barbara Ehrenriech?
Michael Moore? Naomi Prins? Naomi Klein? Stiglitz?
Dean Baker? Cornell West? Somebody from Veterans For Peace?
Planned Parenthood?

I'm really sick of the Reich Wing MSM so-called moderators !!!

Given another opportunity to debate and they claim there is some sort of conspiracy. Just as nutty as Trumps backers.

display a lack of grace.

Why can't we just focus on issues and qualifications?

Why do opponents always have to be "bad people"?

Makes me feel like I'm in Jr. High again !!

She will be asked how she goes on in the face of attacks and how she will feel if she loses again after putting her heart into the race only to be rejected.

Hillary will then "speak from the heart" and have a tender moment, eyes welling up, etc and the media will play it over and over again before the caucus. Mark my words.
