Service-providing employment rose by 234,000 jobs in December, up from an upwardly revised 213,000 in November. (22,000 posts)If it matches the official numbers that come out on Friday, then it may spur the Fed to raise interest rates again the next time they meet. Of course they are also going to consider world events as well, which has been pretty bad news lately.
