Bristol Palin Announces Birth of Second Child
Source: NBCNews.com
ANCHORAGE, Alaska Bristol Palin is a mother for the second time.
Palin, who launched an abstinence campaign after giving birth as an unwed teenage mother, posted on Instagram Thursday that she gave birth to a girl, Sailor Grace, on Wednesday.

It's the second child out of wedlock for the daughter of 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Family attorney John Tiemessen said he could confirm only that the Instagram account was Bristol Palin's.
Palin was an 18-year-old unwed mother when she launched the abstinence campaign soon after giving birth to son Tripp in December 2008.
She was engaged to Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, but the wedding was called off days before the ceremony earlier this year.
Palin has not publicly disclosed who is the father of her newborn daughter.

Words fail me when thinking about this entire asshole family.
I assume she made it to the vet in time.

(5,420 posts)so where, I wonder, does Sailor Grace come from?
Track, the first-born and oldest son, was given that name because of the family's longstanding interest in sports.
Sarah's parents were coaches, Todd was a high school athlete and Sarah is an avid runner. Their first child was born during the track season.
Bristol, the oldest daughter, is named after Bristol Bay, an area where Todd grew up. Bristol Bay is also the site of the family's commercial fishing interests.
The Palins have not identified the significance of their other two daughters' names, but the meaning is likely rooted in aspects of the region's culture and way of life.
Willow is the name of a small community in Alaska relatively close to Wasilla.
Piper may have come from the name of the popular bush plane the Piper Cub, which is commonly used in Alaska.

I'm so sorry. It seems you've suffered multiple Palin exposures and it's effecting your memory. Please seek medical attention!

As the bottle is emptied, additional pin-up girls designed by Sailor Jerry are visible on the inner side of the label. The rum is distilled in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It takes its influence from Caribbean rum, which sailors would spice with flavors from the Far East and Asia to make it more enjoyable to drink. (6,927 posts)I would not wish an issue on anyone. Having said that, I have to ask, if she has not announced the father, is it because she is not sure who it is?? OK, that was very bad and I and I do not care. I will say no more evil. The child is an innocent.

(1,134 posts)I usually ignore these types of threads topics, because I don't really care about the Palins, nor do I usually care much about any public person's personal life. Despite that, I clicked on it and I read the comments. Now I feel somewhat obliged to leave a non-snarky remark about a kid who had no control over his family. I hope he does well, and I also hope Bristol is able to be a good mother to all fifty of her children.

"My first five years of life we spent in Skagway, Alaska, right there by Whitehorse (Canada). Believe it or not - this was in the '60s - we used to hustle on over the border for health care that we would receive in Whitehorse. ... and I think, isn't that kind of ironic now. Zooming over the border, getting health care from Canada." - McCain's everlasting shame.

(37,343 posts)Aren't sailors known for having children out of wedlock? Maybe the child was named after the father. I once worked with a guy (his optimistic parents named him Adonis) who claimed to have fathered 27 children and never wasted a nickel supporting them.
The Palins are special.

Sounds like the most rocking redneck soap opera I've ever heard.
