Kohler Company and UAW Local 833 reach a contract agreement

After nearly a month on strike, Kohler Company and United Auto Workers Local 833 say they have reached an agreement on a new four-year labor contract.
Details of that contract agreement have not been released, since the deal has not been voted on by union members, but Kohler Company says it increases wages and benefits for employees over those four years.
UAW Local 833 has scheduled a vote on the agreement for Wednesday, December 16, at 5:30 p.m. at Plymouth High School. If, and when, the contract is ratified, union members will plan to return to work on Thursday morning.
