PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The latest on heavy rains in the Pacific Northwest (all times local):

6:30 p.m.

Officials with Puget Sound Energy say power was restored to more than 60,000 homes and businesses in western Washington on Wednesday. Crews are still working to restore power to about 15,000 customers in the area.

Portland General Electric says they've restored power to about 55,000 customers since the first wave of the storm Monday morning. Officials say power to the remaining 1200 customers will be restored this evening.

That's my hometown. In the 11 years I lived there I saw some pretty good storms, but this one looks like it was powerful. I am hoping to visit next June as I miss the city so much.
