Syrian Rebels 'Leave Homs' Under Truce

Source: BBC

Syrian rebels have begun evacuating from the last area they hold in the city of Homs under a ceasefire deal reached with the government, a monitoring group has said.

The deal means the entire central city returns to government control.

Those leaving are due to areas of Idlib province which remain in rebel hands.

Syria's third city was once dubbed the "capital of the revolution" and saw some of the first protests against President Bashar al-Assad.

Good to see the MSM catching up. The birthplace of the "revolution", has been liberated from the murderous jihadists. Letting them escape justice and retribution is unfortunate. Allepo will be free of these scum soon enough. I'm sure the good people of Homs are happy to have rid themselves of these radical Islamist monsters.

Main question the US needs to answer is how to protect the Kurds once the other rebel groups have been defeated. Maybe Assad will make a deal with them.

On edit, Russia might agree to help the Kurds just to annoy the Turks.
