Opposition 'wins Argentina presidency'

Centre-right opposition candidate Mauricio Macri has won the presidential election run-off in Argentina, according to exit polls.

Exit polls broadcast by several Argentine TV channels shortly after voting closed indicated Mr Macri, 56, had won, without giving a breakdown.

Mr Macri, the mayor of Buenos Aires, was up against Daniel Scioli, the governor of Buenos Aires province.

Neither candidate won the first round of voting outright, forcing a run-off.
