Costa Rica detains Syrian woman traveling on Greek passport

SAN JOSE (Reuters) - Costa Rica has detained a Syrian woman who arrived in the Central American country traveling on a Greek passport, the foreign ministry said on Thursday, the latest case of Syrians caught with incorrect documents in the region.

Five Syrian men were captured in Honduras this week also traveling on Greek passports, and Honduran authorities refused entry to another Syrian last week.

Can someone explain to me why it is that the anti-refugees coalition thinks that a Syrian would choose to infiltrate the US via Honduras by way of Mexico? If they were intent on infiltration, why wouldn't they just start in Mexico?

Yeah, exactly. Hmm, what's the best way to carry out a terrorist plot in the US. I KNOW!!! Let's go to Honduras, take our chances crossing into Mexico and then ride the train that so many people die on, and then we'll take our chances crossing the US southern border!!! We'll be there in about a month...way easier than applying for a tourist visa and then just staying.
