The man’s actions resulted in him recovering in a hospital after being shot by two police officers.

Investigators said the man identified as Mark James Riedel, 47, is listed in stable condition.

Riedel called 911 and said,”I’m dealing with some severe mental illness.” From there, the situation escalated when the dispatcher asked for his location, according to News 9.

“OK. Where are you at?,” the dispatcher asked.

“I’m sure you can get that off the caller ID,” the man responded. “And I’m going to go out there and just start shooting anything that looks like a Muslim after what they did to France.”....
