Carson: I've Been Criticized Because I'm A Threat To 'The Progressives'

.............Jansing continued to press him on the subject.
"You don't think that Bill Clinton or the president with his birth certificate, people who still--" she asked.
"No, not like this," Carson repeatedly said.
"So what do you think is going on? Why you?" Jansing asked.
"Because I'm a threat," Carson said.
"To?" she asked him to clarify.
"To the progressives, the secular progressive movement in this country," Carson replied. "I'm a very big threat because they can look at the polling data and they can see that I'm the candidate who's most likely to be able to beat Hillary Clinton. They see that."

(28,017 posts)presidential fodder. His religious beliefs are out of the 16th century, right at the end of the Dark Ages, as some call it. For all his allegedly meek and quiet demeanor, I can easily see him inflicting torture on nonbelievers, or even folks who simply follow the wrong saint.

(1,730 posts)sociopath who seemingly lives in a fabricated fantasy world. You sir, do not fall within the normal spectrum of mental health. Your predilection for lying disqualifies you from holding any public office. You can not be trusted.
It's no one's fault but your own. When even the Wall Street Journal is calling you out, you can't deflect using the "liberal media" canard.
You're a liar. Withdraw from the presidential campaign, and shirk off to relative obscurity with at least a small shred of dignity.

"Honestly, Dr. Carson. These men are your friends. We were told by Jesus to take you to pbeh-buh pbeh-buh land. Don't worry, Dr. Carson. Stop resisting. This is just to help you to be more comfortable. Now, isn't that better. We wouldn't want you to hurt yourself."

Putting you anywhere near the burden of protecting the religious rights of people who believe something in direct opposition to your DEEPLY held beliefs, will result in pogroms.
