WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday makes her first appearance in a negative advertisement funded by the wealthy Republican donors tied to billionaires Charles and David Koch.

A 30-second ad aimed at Internet users in South Carolina and Florida shows headlines about the number of veterans who have died while awaiting health care. Then it shows a recent MSNBC interview with Clinton, who said of problems at the Department of Veterans Affairs, "It's not been widespread as it has been made out to be."

"Not widespread?" text in the ad says. "Our veterans deserve better."

The digital ad, backed by at least $100,000 from Concerned Veterans for America, a nonprofit group that does not identify its donors, is timed to run as Clinton participates in a Democratic candidate forum in South Carolina.

The brothers can afford to throw $ at the problem if they are so worried about it!

The Kochs' lap dogs in Congress cut funding to everything then complain that there are not enough resources. Assholes.

It's not Hillary's ad. It's a republican group trying to swift boat her.

The digital ad is backed by at least $100,000 from a nonprofit group, Concerned Veterans for America, that does not identify its donors.

http://www.aflcio.org/Blog/Other-News/Report-Koch-Funded-Concerned-Veterans-for-America-Wants-to-Dismantle-VA-Cut-Veterans-Benefits

A Koch brothers-funded front group called the Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) has been making waves on Capitol Hill lately, promoting a long list of anti-VA, anti-worker proposals that would break this sacred promise and leave veterans out to dry. Led by former Wall Street bank employee and failed Senate candidate Pete Hegseth, CVA has been the driving force behind efforts to dismantle the VA health care system and trim service members’ hard-earned disability and other benefits.

Unlike veterans groups whose mission is to provide critical services to veterans across America, CVA seems only to be concerned with promoting the Koch brothers’ radical political agenda in Washington, D.C. In exchange for the millions in funding they’ve received from the groups associated with the infamous anti-government billionaires, they are also waging a campaign to reform Social Security and Medicare, which veterans and their families heavily rely on, and government spending overall. In Koch-speak, “reform” means “cut relentlessly and put the rest toward tax breaks for the wealthy.”

but since it is misleading it's better not to repeat it.

This is a Koch brothers attack ad on Hillary, not a "debut."

But the OP poster can make it clear in the OP's commentary section (below the line following the excerpts) what is wrong/misleading about the title, and he should do that IMHO.

And the excerpt one sees on DU's home page looks awful too:

By JULIE BYKOWICZ WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton is making her first appearance in an advertisement funded by wealthy Republican donors tied to billionaires Charles and David Koch. A 30-second ad aimed ...

And sadly, for every 10 people who see the title and excerpt on the home page, only 1 person clicks through to the DU post and reads it. And for every 10 people who read through the DU post, only 1 clicks through to the article. (OK, I made up these statistics completely and totally out of my ass, but I bet I'm not all that far off).

Kind of hard to change that (the excerpt above that shows up on the DU home page). LBN rules call for the excerpts section to be unaltered. One has a choice of what excerpts to include (up to 4 paragraphs worth) ... but including the first sentence or two of the article at least is usually expected...

I was misled too by the title and the excerpt above into thinking the worst about Hillary and her being an ally of the Koch Bros and them being two peas in a pod and that we were headed into some sort of Hillary Hell oligarchy and on and on
