Gangster Chhota Rajan will be deported to India tonight: Interpol

Dreaded Mumbai gangster Chhota Raja will be deported from Indonesia Tuesday night, the Interpol said.

“Clearance has come, by tonight he will be out,” an Interpol official said.

Earlier, in a shocking disclosure, Rajan told media in Bali that some members in the Mumbai Police have links with India’s most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim and he does not trust them.

“Some members of the Mumbai Police are working in tandem with Dawood. I will keep on fighting against terrorism and Dawood. I am not scared of Dawood,” said Rajan, a confidant-turned-rival of Dawood, the prime accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

This may not really be big news in the US, but imagine the consiglieri of one of the Five Families turning on the capo, fleeing to Sicily, and being caught and extradited.

2. "Shootout at Wadala" is based on his early career

It doesn't get to his double cross of Ibrahim, but it shows his early days as his lieutenant. The crime syndicate was so feared that if Ibrahim wanted your building, he wouldn't send goons; he would just send Rajan with Ibrahim's well-known cane, and he would leave the cane leaning against your front wall. At that point you knew it was time to go.

But a movie about the turf war since the split would be a amazing. Real The Godfather stuff -- Rajan jumping out a window when the pizza delivery turns out to be a hit; gunning down Ibrahim's new consiglieri at a social club in Dubai in revenge, etc.

The books are called Dongri to Dubai and Byculla to Bangkok. Great reads if you like true crime. Some of the stuff makes Cosa Nostra look like Full House.

5. I'm going to get one of the books. I wished the only copy of the movie I found had...

been dubbed or subtitled. I was impressed by the acting and the production of the movie.

Indian anti-smoking commercials make American ones look like kiddie cartoons.

6. Did you check the "tools" menu? The only full version I've seen on youtube had subtitles there.

The gearbox menu on a lot of videos gives you subtitles in multiple languages.
