Official says 3 people injured, 1 suspect in custody, after church shooting in Alabama.

A Selma man is behind bars after allegedly shooting three people at Oasis Tabernacle Church in East Selma Sunday morning.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, James Minter has been arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder.

Now this colossal asshat will rightly be spending serious time in prison.
Never understood why someone would rather kill their significant other rather than just calling it quits and moving on.

Condolences to the victims and hoping for a speedy recovery.

and, typically, testosterone. "If I cannot have her/my kids/my job, then no one else will either".

Of course, those emotions pass, but to some of those experiencing them, murder/suicide is the way out of a cul-de-sac: you have revenge on those who caused you pain (murder), then your pain stops (suicide). This is pretty much the motivation of typical mass shootings in America.

Good thing these people (men) typically have unfettered access to semi-automatic firearms.

Freedom should include the freedom to go to church...or to a town meeting...or to a movie theater...or to the mall...or to school.

I'm so damn tired of reading the same story over and over again.
