Trump Tries To Shame Megyn Kelly Over 2010 Stern Interview About Breasts

Source: Talking Points Memo

Former reality television star Donald Trump continued to wage war against Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly by tweeting out a link on Monday to a report of a racy interview she gave to radio shock jock Howard Stern in 2010.

The Republican presidential candidate, who has been going after Kelly since she moderated the first GOP debate last week and asked him about some of the sexist phrases he has used to describe women.

On Friday, Trump attacked Kelly by saying she had "blood coming out of her wherever" when she asked the question.

On Sunday, the conservative news site Newsmax resurfaced the 2010 interview from Stern's show. The Newsmax headline was "Megyn Kelly Talks With Howard Stern: Breasts, Penises, Sex."

The original story can be found on Politico.

Wait, isn't the GOP the party of family values? Sex is supposed to never be talked about in public and storks bring babies? How about Howard Stern too? He's not only the antithesis of Dan Quayle/Rick Santorum, the poster children for social conservatism in the GOP, but why aren't Trump's GOP critics outraged over his sexism as they pretend to be with Trump?

Smells of typical Republican sanctimony. I think Megyn had a right to talk to Howard about whatever she wanted. Sex is nothing to be ashamed of. Bad "journalism," like her against Trump, is tho.

Full disclosure: I badly want Trump as the GOP nominee so Hillary can landslide him.

all happened in 1992, as well as Bush/Quayle's constant talk of "family values," which is a huge reason the Clintons were able to permanently get economically upscale but socially moderate/liberal suburban states like CA, IL, NJ, MI, PA, MD, DE, CT, ME, VT into the D column for 6 in 6 last elections, and NM/NH 5 for 6. The forgetfulness about those issues is how the fact that Perot was socially liberal is also forgotten, and thus his negative impact against Clinton and not Bush among a lot of that electorate is only recently being brought to light by Kornacki, Maddow, Silver, etc. The economy and Bush I's Carteresque approvals helped sink the GOP that year, tho those cultural issues are how Dems have kept those electoral votes in near perfect record, and made former GOP states like NV, OH, CO, FL into swing states. That's why I honour the Clintons.

The rank and file GOP has to find that highly refreshing, given all the rest of them seem to be running for Pope, not president.

I don't want him to be the nominee. I want him to run a vanity campaign as a third party outsider and I want him to do better than their nominee. I want to wake up the power brokers that a secular candidate cleaned their clocks.

I want us to win the office, though.

I was wondering why that was a 'story', nevermind the first, but they are in Trump's pocket and now it makes sense.
