Giuliani Denies Report He Called Ailes to Make Sure Megyn Kelly Goes Easy On Trump (at GOP debate)

New York Magazine‘s report this week on the Fox News debate tomorrow night contained one interesting tidbit: someone close to the Donald Trump campaign claiming that Rudy Giuliani called Fox News CEO Roger Ailes directly to voice concerns about Kelly being too hard on Trump during the debate.

Why? Because apparently Trump’s campaign doesn’t think she likes him very much.
Well, when Giuliani was on MSNBC, Chris Matthews asked him about that report and if he really made the call.

Giuliani laughed and said, “That story was so false. I never talked to Roger about it, I never talked to Donald about it, somebody made it up.”
