Prosecutors believed Scott Walker committed a felony while county executive

Source: Wisconsin State Journal

Prosecutors believed Gov. Scott Walker committed a felony when he served as Milwaukee County Executive for his role in negotiating a lease extension for county office space and a cleaning service contract, a Wednesday court filing shows.

Walker was never charged with a crime, and has long said he was never a target of the 2011 John Doe investigation into his county office.

On Wednesday prosecutors filed into the court record a 2011 request for a search warrant that was part of the investigation. The Wednesday filing in federal court came in response to a lawsuit brought against the prosecutors, including Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm assistant district attorneys Bruce Landgraf and David Robles, by Walker aide Cindy Archer, who also was under investigation.

They wrote in the search warrant request that there was probable cause to believe Walker, Friends of Scott Walker campaign treasurer John Hiller and real estate broker Andrew Jensen together violated state public office misconduct laws in 2010.

It doesn't matter what he's done or what can be proven.

It all goes away when it gets to the bought and paid for courts.

BloggingBlue's Zach Wisniewski

provides a link to a recording made while law enforcement officials working on the John Doe case raided the home of Scott Walker confidante Cindy Archer and urges readers to listen to it.

The recording debunks Archer's contention that the raid was abusive and violated her civil rights.

http://bloggingblue.com/2015/08/cindy-archers-claims-of-prosecutor-abuse-during-john-doe-search-of-her-residence-wildly-exaggerated/

Reading all the goings on - from Archers nutty civil suit against WISC prosecutors (recording proves she is lying) - of course, lawyered up with lawyers from Club for growth - to her newest job - given to her - at a great pay raise...

Read all about at the WSJ - story after story..a commenter on one of the stories even sites Archer making the same story up 10 years ago..

Me thinks Ms. Archer hath opened can o' worms for mr walkerbot...let's see where all this leads -

And Walker can call it a witch hunt till the cows come home, but he has numerous underlings and associates convicted and in jail related to corruption taking place right under his nose and a district attorney stating he had probable cause to believe Walker had committed a felony.

Walker's been a dirty politician since he was a teenager, and it looks like it's catching up with him.

The bought and paid for Wisconsin Supreme Court majority ordered all copies of the evidence collected in the John Doe investigation be destroyed. They can only release information related to suits filed against them by the Walker associates, so my guess is that they are including what they can relevant to the suits filed against them by the Walker people before it's destroyed.

And McDonnell gets a slap on the wrist for bribery beyond measure, and DeLay, Perry, and Christie walk.

Any 3rd grader could convict Walker. To say he didn't know his office staff was doing his campaign work is insane.

This asshole belongs behind bars.

Good thing he has a couple billionaires backing him up, or he would have to face the kind of justice that crushes the rest of us when we screw up.

Kangaroo Courts Again.

He was the target, but he stacked the Supreme Court of the state with Koch boosters who of course voted to close the case. He's lying, cheating, stealing scum - and if things go really really wrong, he could be the next president of the USA. He's the one I'm most worried about because he's the biggest Kochsucker of all.

revealed as definitely the target (we still don't know for absolute certain in the John Doe 2 but it's a fair bet).

The John Doe 1 could (and should) probably be re-opened.

And that, I think, is one of the main reasons why so many people have called him a sociopath.

Walker lied about not being a target of the investigation because he thought he could get away with that lie. But why did he lie about what David Cameron said when they met? Why would he tell a ridiculous lie like this one just last week:

"The big-government special interests, the powerful special interests, the union bosses and others, they will stop at nothing, and all their supporters out there. They brought 100,000 protesters into our state to try and intimidate us, to back us down." link

Walker's lies are well documented and need to be addressed by the media and his opponents. There really is something wrong with him and that should concern Republicans, too.
