Teachers union demands apology from Chris Christie

Source: Politico

By ELIZA COLLINS

Chris Christie said over the weekend that a national teachers union deserved a punch in the face, and now it would like an apology.

The American Federation of Teachers launched a petition demanding Christie apologize for the comments, grabbing nearly 30,000 signatures as of Wednesday afternoon.

“Teachers unions aren’t some faceless entity — our unions are made up of individual teachers, who go to work every day dedicated to helping children succeed,” the petition said. “Chris Christie seems to think that leadership means threatening violence and creating a culture of intimidation. We couldn’t disagree more.”

Christie referred to the organization on CNN’s “State of the Union” after host Jake Tapper asked about a common phrase the New Jersey governor has used.

$50,000 a year and a rich, right wing criminal politician.

I go with the politician every time

He needs my help and sympathies more than that teacher.

Certainly not one that is an aspiring presidential candidate. He doesn't have a chance in hell of being president ever, but that pretty much cements it! Stupid, ignorant, idiotic, and not trustworthy. He's a crook, and should be ran outta town on a rail.

Chris here,
As a rule I am not one who will allow myself to be bullied into repeating myself . However I have in past made certain exceptions to my rule. First of all and again, I can not and will not cop a plea on this issue. As you all know folks, I am on the road and very busy ,the food is good ,the talk is cheap and the bill will be passed along. I knew when I said that they would come after me in uniformity and that is why I stay suited up.

If they can't take a figurative statement without being literally tone death, than I really don't know what else to tell ya.
They are trying to castrate me folks and it's a crime .

And again, I don't have time to get mad about it right now but I can always find time to get even.At the moment I have bigger fish to fry.

A forced, staff-written, "apology" delivered under political duress.

Even if he were to be like Richard Durbin crying on the floor of the Senate, I doubt seriously that any apology would be accepted by the teachers.
